FAQ
How does the resistance system work and can it suit different fitness levels?
The 32-blade fan provides smooth, adjustable air resistance with 10 levels, supporting up to 50 kg. This allows both beginners and advanced users to customize intensity for low-impact or high-efficiency full-body workouts.
Is the rowing machine easy to assemble and store at home?
Yes! The machine comes 90% pre-assembled. Its foldable frame and transport wheels make it easy to move and store, while the elevated design and adjustable seat and pedals ensure ergonomic comfort for users up to 160 kg.
Can the R50 connect to third‑party apps like Peloton or show immersive workouts?
The R50’s Bluetooth does support basic metrics with the free Merach app and some third‑party apps (like Kinomap or basic tracking apps), but its Bluetooth compatibility is not universally supported across all fitness platforms. Some apps may connect but not display accurate stroke data or sync smoothly. For truly immersive scenic courses or avatar racing, experiences might vary depending on the app and connection quality.
How does an air resistance rowing machine work, and how do I adjust the intensity?
Air resistance rowing machines generate resistance through a flywheel and fan system. The harder and faster you row, the more resistance you feel, giving a natural, dynamic workout. Most models also have a drag or fan adjustment lever that lets you slightly change airflow for higher or lower resistance. Unlike magnetic rowers, the intensity depends both on your effort and the fan setting, making it ideal for full-body, low-impact training that adapts to your strength and pace.
